ARK Expands New Architectural Horizons in San Francisco

Manuel Ruiz Moriche visits California

From Sotogrande, ARK Architects continues to expand its international vision — exploring new territories and taking its design philosophy beyond borders.
Our Creative Director and Co-founder, Manuel Ruiz Moriche, recently traveled to California, where ARK is beginning a new residential project in San Francisco. There, he studied the environment and its potential to inspire architecture that enters into dialogue with nature and light.

California and the Costa del Sol share more than the ocean: both regions offer a unique light and a relationship with the landscape that invites life to unfold outdoors.
This affinity inspires ARK to create private villas where light, orientation, and bioarchitecture become essential materials — generating living spaces that breathe and naturally connect interior and exterior.

This approach is not new to ARK. Our international projects in Abu Dhabi, New York, Australia, and various parts of Europe share the same philosophy. Each project is unique, yet all speak a common language: contemporary design, sustainability, comfort, and harmony with the environment.

Manuel’s visit to San Francisco marks another step in our global journey — an opportunity to observe, understand, and reinterpret a new context, applying the same architectural sensitivity that defines us.
From the Mediterranean to the Pacific Coast, ARK seeks to create timeless architectures that connect deeply with their surroundings and enrich the experience of those who inhabit them.
