On 5 August, we celebrated one of those evenings that, over the years, has become part of the way we experience summer in Sotogrande.
As has become a tradition, at ARK Architects we brought together friends, family, collaborators and people close to the studio in a place that is very special to us: the iconic Ké Sotogrande restaurant. An evening conceived simply as an opportunity to reconnect, share and enjoy a summer night together.
Manuel Ruiz Moriche, Santiago Ruiz and Diego Suárez, founding partners of ARK Architects, welcomed the guests together with the studio’s team in a relaxed and intimate atmosphere, setting aside the pace of everyday life for a few hours to celebrate the encounters, conversations and moments that also form part of our story.
Music accompanied the evening thanks to Chica Limón, whose fusion of flamenco and Latin rhythms provided the perfect soundtrack and created an atmosphere made for enjoying a summer night in Sotogrande.
And, as with every good celebration, there was also time for a toast. Wines from Bodegas Cepa 21, chaired by José Moro, accompanied an evening filled with laughter, reunions and long conversations around the table.
Beyond architecture, at ARK we deeply value the relationships that are built over time. The people who accompany us, those who become part of our projects, and everyone with whom we share our way of understanding Sotogrande and the Mediterranean.
That is why this summer gathering is always especially meaningful to us: an opportunity to come together once again and to celebrate everything we have shared throughout the year.
