With The Poetics of Living, ARK Architects presents a cinematic exploration centered around ENSO, where architecture transcends its physical form to become a way of life. The film opens with a statement by Manuel Ruiz Moriche, co-founder and creative director of the studio: “Human beings, nature, and light as guiding elements of the creative process.” From that moment on, the viewer is no longer simply observing a villa, but is invited into a deeper and more sensory experience of inhabiting space.
Located in La Gran Reserva, Sotogrande, ENSO becomes the setting for a visual journey where architecture and human presence move in harmony. Each frame is carefully composed to go beyond the representation of space, revealing emotions, atmospheres, and moments of life.
The villa’s organic and curved lines blend gently into the landscape, never imposing themselves on it, but instead seeking a continuous dialogue with the surrounding nature. Light, in turn, becomes a living material — entering through courtyards, reflecting on water surfaces, and transforming interiors throughout the day.
