At ARK Architects, we understand the home as something that extends beyond its physical boundaries. Architecture belongs to a broader ecosystem in which landscape, light, climate, culture and the way we live are deeply interconnected.

From our base between Marbella and Sotogrande, these are some of the destinations that form part of this privileged context

Marbella

Marbella represents one of the most recognisable expressions of the Mediterraneanlifestyle

Its relationship with the sea, its gastronomic scene, boutiques, galleries, hotels and leisure destinations coexist with the more traditional character of its historic centre. Puerto Banús brings an international dimension, while other parts of the city retain a more intimate and relaxed scale.

For those living in Sotogrande, Marbella is not simply a weekend destination. It caneasily become part of everyday life: lunch by the sea, an afternoon of shopping, anexhibition or dinner with friends.

Tarifa, Bolonia, Zahara de los Atunes and Vejer de la Frontera each preserve a distinctive identity shaped by the ocean, the wind and a more relaxed pace of life.

Marrakech is a reminder that architecture and interior design can be profoundlyconnected to culture and to a specific way of living.

Sotogrande as a Starting Point

One of Sotogrande’s greatest privileges is precisely its ability to offer privacy, natureand tranquillity without giving up a strong connection to the wider world.

From here, Andalusia, the Mediterranean, Portugal and North Africa form part of aremarkably close and diverse territory.

At ARK Architects, we believe architecture begins long before a home is drawn. Itbegins by observing the place, understanding its light, its landscape, its climate and theway people want to live within it

For that reason, inhabiting a home is not only about enjoying its interior spaces. It isalso about establishing a relationship with everything that surrounds it.

And Sotogrande offers an exceptional starting point from which to do so.
